The launch of the luxury tourist boat named Amber which was built in Jaffna by local youths under the initiative of the Sea Leisure Yachting Group (SLYG), was held on Thursday evening, 4th of September 2025, in the Kurikkadduwan sea area.
The Honourable Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, and the Deputy Consul General of India, Sai Murali, graced this occasion.
