Considering the emergency situation prevailing in the country, Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan took a step to provide 10 vehicles temporarily to the Police of Northern Province for their emergency use.
After the discussion with the Senior DIGP of Northern Province Roshan Fernando, Governor came to the decision of providing vehicles temporarily for the police use.
Accordingly, 2 vehicles in each District Secretariat of Northern Province have been arranged. In addition to that, 3 vehicles belonging to the Northern Provincial Council will also be provided temporarily.
Governor of Northern Province provides his full support for the protective measures being enforced by both the police and the security forces to ensure the safety of all the people of the Northern Province. He requested the people of Northern Province to cooperate in the activities of the forces and police.
