Ministry of Health of the Northern Province received Gold Medal in the assessment conducted by the Committee on Public Accounts for the year 2017 to identify the departments effectively performed to comply with the financial regulations.
The awarding ceremony in this regard was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena on 05th July 2019 at Colombo BMICH. The award for the Provincial Health Ministry was conferred by the Speaker of Parliament Jayasuriya to Secretary of Provincial Health Ministry S.Thiruvakaran.
