Documents required for Revenue Licence

1. Registration Certificate of Vehicle or The Extract Containing Particulars of the Vehicle Issued by the Commissioner of Motor Traffic (CMT-52 or MTA-11) or Certified Photo Copy of C.R. Approved by Finance Organization.
2. Revenue License of the Previous Year.
3. Valid Vehicle Insurance Policy Certificates.
4. Valid Emission certificate (except land vehicle)
5. Fitness Certificates for Commercial Vehicles. (Motor Lorry, Private Coach, Omni Bus, Ambulance, Hearse, Motor Tricycle Van, Special Purpose Vehicle)
6. Passenger Service permits for Omni Bus

Penalties

As the license year of a motor vehicle starts from the day and month of first registration of that motor vehicle, it can be paid within 2 months before the date of expiry of the licence.
An additional 10% of the tax fee should be paid up to 3 months from the licence expiry date. For more than 3 months but up to 12 months, 20% of the tax will be charged.
If it is more than 12 months, 30% of the fixed annual fee after the deadline for payment of the licence fee.
