In order to provide relief to the people affected by Cyclone Dithwa, the Northern Province Government Drivers’ Association deposited a sum of Rs. 50,000, collected from its members, into the government’s nation-building *Rebuilding Sri Lanka* Fund and handed over the deposit receipt today – on Monday 12 January 2026, at the Governor’s Secretariat to the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan. This document has been forwarded immediately to the Presidential Secretariat.
