Major General Yahampath, the newly appointed Commander of Jaffna Security Forces met with Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayagan, at the Governor’s Secretariat on Monday, December 23, 2024.
During the meeting, they offered each other cordial greetings, and Hon. Governor recalled that Major General Yahampath had previously worked in Jaffna District during his tenure as the Jaffna District Secretary. Major General Yahampath shared with the Governor that they would soon meet again to discuss important matters regarding the development and progress of Jaffna District.
It is also noteworthy that Major General Yahampath assumed his duties as the Commander, of Security Forces, Jaffna on Friday, December 20, 2024.
