Eng. S. Vimaleswaran has been appointed as the Chairman of the Northern Province Road Passenger Transport Authority by the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan. The letter of appointment was handed over today – on Wednesday 14 January 2026, at the Governor’s Secretariat. The Secretary to the Governor, S. Saththiyaseelan, also participated in the event.
The appointment will take effect from 19.01.2026.
