The Honorable Governor of Northern Province P.S.M. Charles has said that in the economic crisis that the country is currently facing, a massive change can be made through small projects. The Hon’ble Governor mentioned this while addressing as the chief guest at the Rotary Club of Sri Lanka and Maldives President Selection and Training Conference.
The Honorable Governor said that she is happy that the Rotary Club is carrying out excellent services including polio prevention and cervical cancer treatment.
Underprivileged students avoid school education. The Rotary Club has come forward to help identify those who lack learning facilities in the Northern Province. Expressing gratitude for these activities, Hon’ble Governor said that education can change the entire social structure.
At the same time, the governor of the northern province has requested that the people living in the northern part of the country need to improve infrastructure facilities on a massive scale and to carry out small projects for that purpose.
