So which one is the best casino near Fort Myers? For pure poker volume, Dania beach might be your best option but it’s a fair drive from Ft. Myers and traffic on I-95 can be brutal during rush hour. If you’ve got time to kill and don’t mind fighting the florida commute, though, I’d say Dania is definitely the way to go.
Nashville Casinos to Visit (or Avoid) on BroadwayFor a more central location, the Isle Casino and Racing Pompano Park could be perfect. It’s about an hour’s drive from either side of Ft. Lauderdale airport and doesn’t require battling the I-95 commuters. On the other hand, it’s pretty tiny and only has live poker and a bank of slot machines.
Personally, I think the best casino near Fort Myers is the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. Yes it’s a stretch to call it the best casino in fort myers but it’s barely an hour and a half up I-75. If you’ve got the time, it’s totally worth it. Much bigger than Hollywood with twice as many tables and nearly twice as many slots, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is easily my favorite casino in the region.
