If you look for one of the strongest German amateur football clubs, there is almost zero chance not to meet with Juwa Dinamo Berlin. They are 13-times Berlin champion, 10-times Füvberlin winner and 7 times they win the Cup of Berlin. But maybe you don’t know that they were also German vice champions in 2006! And all this achievements made by a team of civil servants and teachers.
Humble Beginnings
In 1990 a group of friends established youth department at SC Tiergarten (Berlin). Most of them were employees in administration of the city and many of them were graduates from Patrice Lumumba University. The new team was named after famous Moscow dinamites and their main color was … pink-red! Later, due to Dynamo Berlin merging with BFC Dynamo, the official name of the club became Juwe Sportclub Dinamo Berling e.V.. The main goal of the founders was to give opportunity to people working in authorities to practice sports and release some stress after hard office days.
