I’m sure that leaves you guessing as to just which casino you should visit first. To help alleviate some of the confusion I’ve sorted through the list and put together a ranking of the 15 biggest casinos in Florida.

Many are indeed large with hundreds of slots and hundreds more of the latest casino games. However, several of the establishments on this list aren’t even technically casinos by legal definition.
Anyway, let’s stop wasting time and get on with the show. Starting with the smallest of the big Florida casinos.
#15. Star Tavern Gaming

We’ll begin our list of the top 15 casinos in Florida with Dania Beach’s Star Tavern Gaming. This small establishment is one of four “Star” themed clubs owned by the Greater Dania Beach Boating and Fishing Club.
The fact that a casino is owned by a recreational organization speaks volumes to the diverse range of opportunities to be had in Florida.
While the Greater Dania Beach Boating and Fishing Club is focused on, well, boating and fishing – the Star Tavern club is focused on video poker machines, blackjack, and craps tables.
There are 225 machines spread out over the club’s 22,000 sq.ft., gaming area. That makes it the smallest venue on our list of Florida’s biggest casinos. But it’s certainly not the worst place to play a few hands or spin the reels a few times.
If you own a boat or have been meaning to take up fishing, you might as well hit up Star Tavern Gaming the next time you’re in Dania Beach.
#14. Miami Jai Alai

Next up on our tour of the biggest casinos in Florida is another club without table games.
Like Star Tavern, Miami Jai Alai is a members-only facility. There are three membership levels – Social, Sports, and VIP. The annual fees range from $35 to $1,000.
For non-members, the casino is open to anybody who is 21+ and accompanied by a member.
Miami Jai Alai was opened in 1962 and quickly became the standard bearer for jai alai in the United States. These days, the venue is known primarily for its casino floor that features 350 machines dispensing wins left and right.
All kidding aside, those 350 machines are where the real action is at Miami Jai Alai. Recent adds to the casino include cutting edge virtual reality slots.
You don’t have to be a member to enjoy them. But if you plan on visiting Miami Jai Alai, it is in your best interest to join anyways. Members receive various discounts and invitations to exclusive events.
#13. Century Casino

Century Casino is one of four Syrian/Lebanese clubs that also offers video slots, blackjack, roulette, and other popular casino games.
This particular location used to be known as Dania Casino & Card Room before being purchased by the Century group in December 2017. Not much has changed since the purchase other than the name above the door.
I suppose if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the focus on Texas Hold’em. Dania Beach is home to the second-largest daily tournament in South Florida. There are also weekly tournaments worth playing for, too.

Back to Century Casino.
There are 400 machines and seven live dealer stations managed by the Century Casinos company. If their other venues are any indication, this place is clean, safe, and has plenty of loose slots.
Century shares that building with another Lebanese American club called Jimmy’s A&G Food Mini Mart & Club. Of course, the “club” part of that name refers to a gaming establishment with around 80 slot machines. So, you could argue there’s gambling at two of the five Syrian/Lebanese clubs in Florida.

Technically, Hialeah Racetrack & Casino is one of the two Florida racinos that are set to offer full casino gaming options soon.
But because the 50,000 square foot casino closed down in late 2019, I cannot, in good faith, rank it among Florida sheds that are currently open to customers.
However, the tiny casino at Hialeah Park is open for business.
It is located on the infield of the horse track and offers 450 slot machines and five table games. It’s been said that the full casino will be twice as big once it opens. And it’ll offer all the typical casino game favorites, along with dozens of poker tables.
Of course, by that point, this list of Florida casinos will need an update.
One interesting tidbit regarding Hialeah Racino is that Caesars Entertainment will reportedly run the operation. That means MGM properties in the state of Florida might finally offer total rewards loyalty points. That would be sick.
#11. Club Isle 777

Club Isle 777 is a peculiar place.
On one hand, it is a members-only social club that hosts events like bingo, dance parties, and live music concerts. On the other hand, it has more than 500 slot machines and a couple of tables for live dealer games.
It’s almost as though the owners wanted to make a casino but didn’t want to deal with the red tape that comes with opening a new gaming establishment in the sunshine state.
I cannot confirm or deny that theory, however.
What I can tell you is that Club Isle 777 isn’t a bad place to toss a few bucks into a slot machine.

Oh, and did I mention they serve homemade desserts? Because they do. And they are to die for.
When you’re finished stuffing your face with apple crisp and chocolate mousse cake, you’ll have your pick of the newest and hottest slot machines in the business.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Fort Lauderdale is a luxurious resort with a gigantic guitar-shaped structure adorning the roof. It’s the fifth Hard Rock Hotel and Casino built by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
The 450-foot-tall edifice contains 2,000+ slot machines, 98 table games, and a 400-seat poker room. It also houses 300 hotel rooms, 10 restaurants, multiple bars, and a 40,00 square ft. ballroom.
Oh, and did I mention that the entire place is decorated with classic rock memorabilia? You’ll find guitars, posters, costumes, and other items belonging to legendary musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Madonna, and Michael Jackson.
All told, the SHR Fort Lauderdale invested $1.5 billion in building this place. That makes it the most expensive guitar you’ve ever seen.
