Subsequently, he met the admins of the ‘Karuvi’ centre in the evening of the day and asked the activities of the centre. He assured that he would support the activities of the centre which works for the betterment of the differently abled people without having any kind of selfishness. At the first phase, he is supposed to implement a plan instructing the government institutions in the Northern Province to purchase their products.
He also assured them he will take action to expand the productions of the centre by purchasing the machinery with the financial support of Gramashakthi People’s Movement which functions under direct supervision of His Excellency the President.
Karuvi admins said they need a permanent office for their centre near Jaffna City and an appropriate place where differently abled people can reach it easily. They are ready to pay for them through their centre. They requested the Governor to make arrangements for the lands.
