A meeting with the Zonal Directors of Education was held under the aegis of Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan on today (24) at Governor’s Secretariat.
Governor participated in this discussion through digital communication. He said that any donation cannot be obtained during the school admission. If any donation is received, the relevant permission should be obtained from the Northern Provincial Ministry of Education. He also urged that monitoring activities should be carried out in schools of Northern Province.
The schools should function in accordance with the circulars. If a donation is asked for admission in any school of the Northern Province, please inform about this to the Governor’s Secretariat. This information will be sent to the Bribery Commission through the Governor’s Secretariat. Governor also said.
The Governor also requested the Provincial Director of Education, Zonal Directors of Educations and Principals to pay more concern on this matter.
