If you are old enough to remember, you might share my fascination with the original Caesars Palace slot machine. It was so different from anything else produced by Bally or any other manufacturer in its day.
real money cash out slotsPerhaps that is why I am partial to slots with a Caesars theme. They tend to be a cut above the average. Their graphics are more elaborate; their soundtracks more elaborate. And there’s usually more going on underneath than meets the eye.
I have found half a dozen slots with “Caesars” in their titles. All of them come from leading providers – some of my personal favorites. In this article, I will present a brief description of each game and provide links to free demos and where to play for real money. Let’s get started with one of the oldest.
Original Caesars Palace Slot Machine
Before online casinos came into existence, land-based casinos were very popular among gamblers. Among all the famous land-based casinos, Caesars Palace needs no introduction. This legendary casino opened its doors back in 1966 in Las Vegas. At that time, it was called the Casino Palace Associates. Later on, in 1967, the Irwin Molasky became the new partner and renamed it as Caesars Palace.
The original Caesars Palace slot machine was manufactured by Bally Technologies in the early 1980s. The three reels spun around against a background that depicted the frontage of the hotel and casino. Above that was a large digital display.
This was not your ordinary slot machine. Instead of selecting a bet and hoping for the best, players had to make decisions during the course of the game. Each spin offered a different number of available winning combinations. It was up to the player to decide how many credits to assign to that spin. The more credits assigned, the more lines were lit up, and the greater the chance of winning. But credits not placed on the line for that spin remained in the bank and carried over to the next spin.
The object of the game was to spell the word CAESARS along the top win line. Every time another C or A or E or R or S appeared in a window below the reels, it was highlighted. Two coins assigned only lit up the first two letters of the word. Three coins selected lit up the first three letters, and so on. It took a maximum coin-in of six coins to highlight all six letters and win the jackpot.
Bally’s video innovation paved the way for the proliferation of video slots we see today, but the mechanical parts of the slot could break down, and Caesars Palace sued Bally for breach of contract. After much litigation, the patent reverted to Caesars, and they licensed it to various manufacturers.
IGT finally acquired the patent in the late 190s. It inspired several games, including Wheel of Fortune and Megabucks. These days, the original sits in the lobby of the Caesars Palace Casino as a reminder of the birthplace of modern slots.
Caesars Glory Slot – Best Caesars Theme Slot
The inspiration for this slot comes not from the original Caesars Palace slot machine but from the last major expansion of the resort in 1992, which cost $150 million and added five hotel towers designed after Romes Julius, Caesar, Octavian, and Augustus. This slot is called Caesars Glory, created by EGT, a Bulgarian software provider with offices in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
Must-Know DraftKings Casino Promos & Games for First-Time PlayersAlthough the name may lead you to believe otherwise, this is primarily a classical slot with 5-reels, 4-rows, and just 5 paylines. Coin denominations range from £2.5 to £100 per spin, making the Caesars Glory slot suitable for high rollers and low stakes players alike.
As far as features go, the slot has everything but a progressive jackpot pot, which is a trademark of EGT. Four of them – Club, Diamond, Heart, Spade – appear on reel 5 and must be collected to activate the corresponding mode with guaranteed wins.
The gladiator is the wild symbol, and three or more scatters launch up to 15 free spins with a triple multiplier. According to experts who have tested it, this slot has an RTP closer to 96%.

Cash Divide Gold Caesars Crown Slot – Most Unique Gameplay
This slot comes from Aruze Gaming America, a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008. The studio focuses on creating slots for the land-based market, but recently decided to open up to the online world with a selection of ten slots assembled under the name PlayWithAruze.com.
Cash Divide Gold: Caesars Crown is based on the Cash Divide series but with a Roman gold coin with a portrait of Caesar superimposed on the logo. The gameboard shows a panoramic view of ancient Rome, complete with columns, arches, and an aqueduct in the distance.
The gameplay is unlike any other slot we have seen before. There are five reels, four rows, and 40 paylines. Each reel contains four character – low value royals A, K, Q, J – and four Caesars, Senators, Conquistadors, and Cleopatras – high value symbols. There are also two special symbols – a gold coin with the image of Caesar (bonus) and a golden laurel wreath (wild).
The main attraction of this game is the bonus round. To trigger it, you need to collect 150 Caesar bonus symbols in the bonus meter to the right of the screen. You are then transported to a second screen where you assume the role of Caesar trying to repel barbarian invaders.
You start out with five free plays, which represent the lives you have left. Each spin gives the barbarians one step closer to breaching the wall. Your mission is to knock them back with a fire pot (re-spin) or a bucket of boiling oil (free play). Reach a total win of 10X, and a new life is awarded.

Cash Divide Caesars Libra Slot – Most Popular Caesars Theme Slot
This slot is also the creation of Aruze Gaming America, and like the previous game in this category, it is part of the developer’s Cash Divide series. However, this game does not feature a progressive jackpot, and it has a lot more going on beneath the surface.
The action takes place in a Coliseum filled with gladiators, lions, and emperors wearing togas. Behind the reels, we can see crowds of people dressed in white robes cheering every win. The animations are particularly impressive when a winning combination hits.
Cash Divide: Caesars Libra has 5-reels, 3-rows, and 40 paylines. Coin denominations range from 1c to $1, which makes it accessible to all types of players, especially those who prefer .
The regular symbols include a lion, a gladiator, a centurion, an emperor, an open hand, and the nine through the ace. An animated Caesar appears as a full-reel wild symbol on reel 3, but it can also appear on reels 2, 4, and 5 as a 1x Wild or a 2x Wild.
The game’s scatter is a golden shield with the image of a she-wolf nursing Romulus and Remus. It grants instant rewards of 1X to 4X your total bet and the free spins bonus when at least three appear anywhere on the reels.
You start out with seven free spins, during which all prizes are doubled. Another cool thing about this feature is that additional free spouts can be won indefinitely without any limits.

Genie’s Hi-Hi’s: Ceasar’s Carnival – Strangest Caesars Slot
If you think that the name of this slot machine is too long, wait until you see the list of developers who contributed to it: Auguri, Authentic Gaming, Fazi, Fantuzzo, and Fantini. It seems that the creators of this game wanted to combine the most entertaining features of all their carnival, circus, genies, and antique Rome slots into one unique creation. Mission accomplished!
The gameboard shows the interior of a theater tent where acrobats, dwarves, and other performers entertain the audience between spins. Soft Roman music plays the background while the reels spin. The animation of the genie coming out of the lamp to grant prizes is also quite original.
