Provincial Internal Audit Office, Northern Province has started it’s sub office function for Mannar District at a new building located at ACLG Office, Mannar Premises.
A 10-day induction training programme for newly recruited Revenue Inspectors has been organized by Management Development Training Unit of Northern Provincesince 26th October 2015 to 06th November 2015.
This program was initiated by the Chief Secretary Northern Province on the request of Chief Secretary of Central Province. The team headed by Hon. Chairman of the Central Province together with the Deputy Chairman and Hon. Members of the Central Provincial Council, the Secretaries and Heads of the Departments started their friendly expedition on 23rd morning from Kangesanthurai.
A three day workshop on Provincial Public Administration and Finance was conducted by the Institute of Constitutional Studies in collaboration with the MDTU Northern Province on 27th, 28th & 29th August 2015. This programme was exclusively targeted on the Heads of departments and Secretaries of the ministries in Northern Provincial Council.
Planning and Strategizing session under the SNPC programme to the key staff of the Northern Provincial Council was organized by the Chief Secretary’s Office with the collaboration of Asia Foundation funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australiaon 30thJuly 2015 at Tilko Hotel, Jaffna. Mr. C.V.K.Sivagnanam, Chairman of the NPC was present in this programme.
The 2nd Quarter Provincial Planning Committee Meeting and Provincial Project Coordinating Committee Meeting were held on 03rd of August 2015 under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary Mr.A.Pathinathan at NPC Conference Hall, Public Library, Jaffna.
