50th anniversary celebration for Sri Lanka Administrative Service has been organized by the Sri Lanka Administrative Service association in national level on 17th of February 2014.
The review meeting with regard to the Transforming the School Education System as the foundation of knowledge Hub project (TSEP) was held at Chief Secretary’s Secretariat on 21st January 2014.

The three days induction training programme for newly recruited Management Assistants have been organized by the provincial Management Development Training unit (MDTU) from 20th to 22nd January 2014 in Provincial Ministry of Education’s (STEPS) Auditorium.
Today (01 January 2014) the Northern Provincial Council commenced its functions on the 1st working day of this year by organizing a special programme with the participation of all government officials for emphasizing the necessity of inculcating and attitudinal change in all public servants for committing to work together for a social and economic development while consolidating national unity for the future generation.
The one day training programme has been arranged for new recruits of the Provincial Driver Service by the Management Development Training Institute at its training hall in Kopay on 01 January 2014.
